Confirm whether each channel is TX enabled, license required, permission required, or RX ONLY.
Check the source and last verified date for repeaters and shared channel plans.
Verify repeater owner/club information, tone, offset, linked system, net schedule, and emergency power status.
Keep local emergency management links, non-emergency phone numbers, shelters, road closures, and NWS office links with the loadout.
Scanner and mobile-radio laws can vary by state and situation. Confirm local rules before programming or carrying a radio.
